Everywhere I look, boxes! We're so close to having it all packed up. This weekend we'll tackle the kitchen. I'm not looking forward to it, but it has to be done. This morning I'll be finishing up a few miscellaneous boxes. I need to vacuum one more room. We need to rent a carpet cleaner next week. The Garage is full of boxes that need to go to Goodwill.
Monday our U-hal container comes. We'll pack it and our household will begin it's month long journey to Alaska. We'll pack our vehicles on Wednesday and drive out of El Paso a Week from today. Where did the time go?
I have to say as far as time this move has been easier than the move her was, when we had to pack and move in under 2 weeks. We learn something every time we move. There is a quirky story that goes with each move and I am sure this one will be no different. After all, a month without a home should prove to be interesting.
We'll be traveling for a month, visiting family, traveling across the lower 48, riding a ferry and driving a portion of the Alcan to our next destination. It's like a move and a vacation all wrapped up in one package.
Once we begin our journey, blogging will become a bit more sporadic, but I have plans of posting more pics. I'll share the photos I take along the way. There will be days where I won't have internet connections, so that makes blog posting impossible...as I will not be posting in advance the way I normally do.
Are you ready to take the journey with us?

So ready! Looking forward to seeing you if time permits! Have fun on this new adventure! (wow, lots of exclamation points)
